Theophilus Phillips (son of George and Elizabeth: No. 1) born May 28, 1636; res. of Watertown, where he married (1st) Nov. 3, 1666, Bethia _____, with last name, it is said, difficult to tell on account of the illegibility of the old hand-writing, but probably might be either Kedal, Bedell, Kettell or Kendal. She died Mar. 15, 1668-9, and he married (2d) Nov. 21, 1677, Mary Bennet. She, a widow, made her will in Hopkinton, Dec. 3, 1730.
