About Theresia (Esther) Tedesco

Prague Conscription records: Theresia TEDESCO, mother, b. 1789, d. 17 March 1869 son, Ludwig aka Levy, b. 1816; son, Friedrich, b. 1819; son, Thomas, b. 1831; dau., Antonia, b. 1821; dau., Augustina, b. 1824.

When she died in Prague on 17 March 1869, Theresia's death record gives her age as 80, a match to the age given in the Prague conscription record. However, when she married in 1813, her age is given as 22, suggesting a 1791 birth year. The 1792 and 1794 censuses indicate that she was born in 1790.

Her gravestone, which is still standing, calls her "Theresie (Esther), wife of Pinchas, dau. of Abraham Janowitzer and Chajele".
