Thierry le Diable

• Thierry de Lorraine dit le Diable ou d'Enfer (Tirriz li anfer) († av. 1244), fut seigneur d'Autigny. Il est le fils de Ferry Ier , seigneur de Bitche, duc de Lorraine, comte d'Alsace et comte de Metz, mort le 7 avril 1206 (selon le nécrologe de Sainte-Marie-aux-Bois) et de Ludomille de Pologne (1148-1223). À la mort de son père, il obtient la seigneurie d'Autigny et son château en héritage.

Seigneur d'Autigny, under the division of territories agreed on the death of his father[116]. Mistress (1): ALIX de Nogent, daughter of ANDRE Seigneur de Nogent-en-Bassigny & his wife --- (-before 1256). She married (before 1234) Simon [III] de Parroye (-before 1254). Thierry had one possible illegitimate son by Mistress (1):
  • a) [FERRY (-before 1296). There is no proof that Ferry was the son of Thierry Seigneur d'Autigny. However, his supposed father's seigneurie was in his possession in 1244 and his arms were similar to those of the Dukes of Lorraine[117]. Sire du Châtelet. Seigneur d'Autigny Jun 1244.]
