About Thomas Alfred Majore
Thomas "Tommy' Majore (b. 1909- d. 1978) was a proud Metis. He grew up in the traditional Metis community of Lebret, Saskatchewan. The 1940's were the years of his greatest achievements when he was a President of Metis Nation of Saskatchewan, the Union of the Unemployed, was a member of the Communist Party of Canada, and a WW II enlisted man. He is the great grandson of Cuthbert Grant Jr. - 'Chief of the Halfbreeds and Warden of the Plains'.
