GISA IRREGULARITIES PROJECT.
He did not marry Hester JV RENSBURG first, as her DN shows she was only married to SMUTS. Perhaps it was a lookup mistake from a subsequent daughter he had in the 1820s with the same names.
Also a bit later on there is just a Thomas BOLTON whom married SWANEPOEL in 1837. Since his JV RENSBURG wife passed away before 1830, it would make sense that he would then marry this SWANEPOEL, and have 3 children with her, before he passed away and she remarried COETZEE subsequently.
