About Thomas de Boulton

18 October 1295, Katherine, late the wife of Simon le Conestable, acknowledges that she owes to Thomas de Boulton and Clemencia, his wife, 31 marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of her lands and chattels in co. York [9].

In 1316 Thomas was returned as sole lord of Hutton upon Derwent, and his tenure remained undisputed until 1323.

In 1332, Thomas de Boulton was pardoned for conspiracies and trespasses against the peace of the king and late kings.

William de Gurnays and Thomas de Boulton gave two oxgangs of land at Yarum, Yorkshire, of the fee of Sir de Grey Knight, who exempted the nuns of "Wilber- foss from doing foreign service, or suits of Court, or other secular service in the same ; and Robert de Boulton gave one oxgang at Yarum, adjoining to that given by William de Gurnay.
