In his will John Browne, wife Urseley, named: sons John, Thomas & Stephen (all under 15); and daughters Mary, Sarah & Elizbeth (all under 12).2

Marriage* circa 1660 He married Susanna Denwood (Quaker) circa 1660. They were Quakers who owned a plantation, later known as "Brownville" across the Matchipungo River, a short distance to the southwest of Upshur's Neck..3
