Identity
William Barton started a discussion about Ursula Browne, a Geni profile that you follow.
Subject: Ursula Browne - Unlikelihood of the given parentage of Ursula Browne.
The Father given for Ursula Browne is John Browne a high ranking official 600 miles to the North in Massachusetts. There were 3 or 4 different John Brownes in Plymouth colony, plus there is no reason to place her Father in Plymouth Colony. John Browne born about 1583 did not come to the Plymouth Colony until 1636, he was married at about the same time. I doubt he is the Father of Ursula. Plymouth was not founded until 1620, he could hardly have been visiting VA from Plymouth Colony when Ursula was born in 1612. Ridiculous
