Caterine Cannell the widow has consented that her part of the purchased Lands & houses shall descend as more? expressed in the within Will- She also undertakes the Tuition fo the Dead's part of the Children & their Goods and is sworn for payment of Debts & Legacies in form of Law and hath given pledges accordingly namely John Cannell of Ballacrenane & John Kaighin of Kemooghy Solvit 18d. Whereas Thomas Cannell of Cloister in the parish of KK Michael bequeathed to his three daughters namely Margaret Christian and Catherine the sum of Ten pounds each and where by the death of Catherine one of the said Daughters her Legacy hath fallen to her surviving Brother and Sisters. Therefore Know all men by these presents that I Patrick Cowley husband of the said Margaret and I Christian Cannell before named do acknowledge to have received from our Brother John Cannell the sum of Ten pounds each as also our proportion of the Legacy bequeathed to our sister & sd.husband decd.and do hereby exonerate acquit and discharge the said John Cannell our Brother and everyall Person of the same and every part thereof Witness our Marks to our Names Witnesses this 7th.of March 1792 John Crettin Pat:Cowley my Mrk X Epl.Regr.
