..."he was also a suspect, but escaped persecution. His testament, printed in 1549, which he hid in his bedstraw lest it should be found and burned in Queen Mary's days was brought to this country by Samuel Hubbard [his grandson], and is probably in the library at Alfred University, Alfred Centre, NY."
