Thomas Foster was born on November 19, 1705 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts Colony. His parents were John Foster and Hannah Stetson.[1]
Thomas married Lois Fuller on 25 November 1725 in Barnstable[2] with intentions recorded in October 1725 in Plymouth.[3]

Thomas Foster was appointed judge of the Inferior Court of Common Pleas of Plymouth county in 1756 and served until the Revolution.[4]
Thomas married his second wife Mary Morton on 13 November 1744 in Plymouth.

In 1758, along with Job Morton and Silas Morton, Thomas Foster bought an equal share of pasture in Plymouth that had belonged to Timothy Morton, decd, from Charles Morton.[5]
In 1767, Thomas purchased Job's portion of the pasture from his brother Charles who had inherited from his brother Job.[6]
Probate
Thomas Foster, of Plymouth, Eqsr., died intestate and on 10 December 1796, James Prince (son-in-law) was granted the administration of his estate.[7]
His inventory taken on 28 March 1797 included only a pew in the first meeting house in Plymouth. His estate was represented as insolvent.[8] (Researcher's notes: This may be residual estate that was never probate.)
