• marriage certificate 18 August 1873 at Heilbron N.G. Kerk. Thomas Frederick Francis, aged 23 marries Elizabeth Catherina de Beer aged 17 from Modderfontein. He is a Livestock farmer from Heilbron,Orange River Colony. He however moved east with the de Beer family, and temporarily settled at Vryheid, where the family stayed, and grew for a few years.()I think till after the ABW. He then seperated from his wife Elizabeth, and left for Pretoria.
