Catherine Francis

Catherine Forbes is married to Frederick Francis. They moved north east, and baptized their sons at Bloemfontein, Orange River Colony. Here after they had settled at Heilbron, in the north eastern Orange River Colony, where Frederick purchased a home.

After Frederick Francis was arrested and died, during the Anglo Boer War, at Vredefort Road Concentration Camp in 1901, Catherine moved on, and settled at 16 Mona Road, Durban central, in Natal.

Catherine, living with family dies at Durban 11 November aged 87. Annie Catherine Younie, (grand daughter) and wife of Joseph Glaister, and grandson William Duncan Younie, are buried with her on the same plot.
