Thomas W. Frusher, 55, of 864 Walker St., died unexpectedly early this morning enroute to Mercy Hospital after suffering a heart attack at home.
He was born Aug. 11, 1915, at Union, the son of Thomas and Hulda Whaley Frusher, and was married to Ethel Schumacher of Janesville. He had lived here most of his life and was a pipefitter at Fairbanks Morse Co. the past 30 years. He served with the Army in the Pacific Theater in World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the VFW.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Allen, Richard and Thomas R., and a daughter, Mrs. Robert Wirth, all of Janesville; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Alvin Nording, Janesville, Mrs. Marlowe Smithback and Mrs. Paul Hoeft, both of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Jack Mulligan, Othello, Wash.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Nelson-Schneider Funeral Home and at 10 in St. Mary Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
