About Thomas Grey, 1st Baron of Richemount Grey
Faris (1999, pp. 375-376): "RICHARD GREY, 6th Lord Grey, of Wilton, son and heir, was born about 1393 (aged three years and more at his father's death). He accompanied the King to France in August 1415, being in the retinue of the Earl of Dorset. He was married for the first time, it is said, to BLANCHE ______. They had two sons. He was married for the second time in 1427 to MARGARET FERRERS, daughter of William de Ferrers, Lord Ferrers, of Groby, by his wife Philippe Clifford. They had two sons. RICHARD GREY, 6th Lord Grey, died testate on 13 or 20 Aug. 1442, and was buried at Bletchley. His widow was married for the second time before 14 Feb. 1445/6 to Thomas Grey, Knt., of Richemount, co. Bedford, afterwards Lord Richemount Grey (a Lancastrian, captured and executed in 1461, some time after the battle of Towton). She died on 16 Jan. 1451/2.
