About Thomas Hackett, II

Thomas Hackett, who according to his own deposition, was born 1699. He patented Hackett’s Adventure in 1732, which is described as lying on the south side of Puckham Branch that issueth out of the Northeast fork of the Nanticoke R., in Dorchester County. This became the homestead and burying ground of the Hackett until the present time. Will probated Dec. 10 1764.

Evidently married twice. Name of first wife unknown. Second wife Rebecca.
