According to "Pioneer Irish in New England" CHAPTER XVI p. 258, 259--
Sarah Mayer was md. 1st (abt 1682) to Thomas HALEY, Jr. who was killed (by Indians) near their home in Saco, ME in Aug 1695. Sarah then moved to Boston with her family, and on 26 Feb 1701, she remarried to Richard CARR of Amesbury. Her dau. Sarah HALEY, md. to Richard Carr's son (by Dorothy BOYCE), Samuel, on 24 Aug 1709, in Salisbury. Her name was mispelled as HEALEY in that record.
