About Thomas Jenkins
NOTE: The parents of Thomas Jenkins, Maryland colonist, are unknown. "William Jason Jenkins" is an entirely fictitious person whose existence is unsupported by any contemporary documentation, and who first appears in fake 19th century genealogies. The fictitious "William Jason Jenkins" is claimed to be brother to Sir Leoline/Lionel/Llewellyn Jenkins, who was an Admiralty judge, privy councillor, and Secretary of State under Charles II. "William Jason Jenkins" is further claimed to be from Anglesey (Sir Llewelyn "Leoline" Jenkins was from near Cowbridge, in Glamorgan).
