About Thomas Kendall
Thomas Kendall (13 December 1778 – 6 August 1832) was a New Zealand lapsed missionary, recorder of the Māori language, schoolmaster, arms dealer, and Pākehā Māori.

In 1825 they went to Chile
In 1827 they returned to Sydney Cove (Thomas + wife + sons Joseph, John, Laurence and Edward - on "Elizabeth" in 1828 and son Thomas on "Rosanna" in 1827 and son Basil on "L Blackwood" in 1828
Thomas died in August 1832 in the shipwreck of "Brisbane"
