Statesboro - T.W. Kicklighter, 86, died Saturday at his home in the Denmark Community after a short illness. he was a life-long resident of Bulloch County and was a retired farmer. He was a member and deacon of Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Lanier Kicklighter of Brooklet; two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Sikes and Mrs. Roland Starling, both of Brooklet; a son, Gerald Leevon Kicklighter of Hinesville; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Betty Bohler and Mrs. Doris Chester, both of Statesboro, Mrs. D.W. White of Auburn, Ala., Mrs. Ben Olliff of Atlanta and Mrs. Lawrence Kirkle of Griffith, Inc.; four stepsons, Swanson Lanier of Statesboro, Donald Lanier of Auburn, Ray Lanier of Griffith and Bobby Lanier of Savannah; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren,

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Barnes-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge.
