About Thomas Holloway King
Thomas was the King's second child. He was the first European born in New Zealand. William Hall recorded in his journal: "Mr King's little boy has for some time past laboured under a lung wasting disease and this morning he fell asleep and awoke no more in this world for ever." (Thanks to "In the Wake of the Active" by Kath Hansen, p 37)
