Born in Little Compton, but about 1723 he moved with his stepfather and mother to North Stonington, Conn.
He witnessed a deed in Stonington on May 2, 1726, so he must have been born before May, 1705.
On Oct 11, 1726 he married his step-sister, Content, daughter of John Sanford and his first wife, Content Howland.(The American Genealogist. p. 110)
Thomas and Content were members of the Seventh Day Baptist Church.
In the John Sanford record book, John’s grandson Thomas Langworthy wrote:
“My Father Mr. Thomas Langworthey Deceased August the 26th AD 1777 about 25 minutes past one of the Clock in the Morning.” (The Barbour Collection says Aug 25.)
