He belongs to the Lee of Langley family, probably as second son. It was agreed that he should marry Mary Plowden, and his sister Mary should marry Mary's brother Edward (not Edmund, but Edmund's younger brother).
Since this pedigree was signed off on by Humphrey Lee, head of the family as of 1623, it is probably more or less accurate to two or three removes in all directions. Accuracy back beyond Thomas Lee m. Jane Corbet is not guaranteed.
