It has been stated that Thomas Mitchell who married at Malden Nov 1655 to Mary Molton might be the grandson of Francis Cooke.[1] Robert Wakefield believes the records establish that they are not the same man.[2]
Deeds showing the family presence in Malden/Charlestown:[2]

There seem to be three Thomas Mitchells that are confused
These are probably all distinct Thomas Mitchells
In the years 1661, 1666, 1669, 1670, 1672, Deeds were being made and confirmed by Thomas Mitchell of Plymouth. Some of these deeds mention his father Experience Mitchell and grandfather Francis Cooke. Thereby proving that the Thomas of Malden/Charlestown (this profile) was not the son of Experience Mitchell. Thomas the son of Experience removed to Rhode Island about 1673. [2]
It is likely that this Thomas lived in the part of Charlestown that became Malden from his marriage in 1655 until his death 1 Sept 1709.[2]
In November 1655 Thomas Mitchell married Mary Moulton, daughter of Thomas Moulton, of Charlestown & Mystic Side
From the Great Migration Project
