Thomas was one of two sons of Margery Morrow, who arrived in Canada on a ship sent from Northern Ireland to populate Ontario. His father died enroute and had burial at sea. They arrived at Pt. Hope, ON. There is no record of his brother, John.
He was a saddlemaker and had a store on Main St. in Cobourg, ON called Morrow's Leather House.
He married Elizabeth McDowelle, a girl from Ireland. They had ten children.
