137 iii. Mary Parsons, born abt. 1667; died Bef. June 05, 1718 in West River, Anne Arundel County, Maryland; married Mordecai Price I Aft. October 10, 1683. iv. Susannah Parsons, born abt. 1670; married William Capell Aft. October 10, 1683.

Notes for Susannah Parsons:

1683 WILL. Susanna Parsons is named as the apparently single daughter of Thomas Parsons of Anne Arundel County, Maryland in his 1683 will. "I Thomas Parsons of Anne Arundel County in ye Province of Maryland, . . . . give & bequeath unto my daughters Mary Parsons & Susanna Parsons my plantation which I live upon & all things belonging thereunto. I give it unto them to be equally divided betwixt them after their mother's decease to be theirs & their heirs forever. . . . & for ye true performance hereof I have here set my hand and seal this tenth day of October in ye year of our Lord 1683. The mark (TP) of Thomas Parsens." SOURCE: Last Will & Testament of Thomas Parsons of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, transcribed by Curt L. Sytsma on March 11, 1999, from a photocopy of the original given to me by Dick & Sandy Rollins. Other sources indicate that the original is found in the Maryland Wills Books, Liber 4, Folio 28.

v. Sarah Parsons, born abt. 1673; married Richard Gott Aft. October 10, 1683. vi. Hannah Parsons, born abt. 1676.

I am a descendant of the Norris/Noreys-Parsons of England, via the lineage of Thomas Treadway . I am trying to locate information on Thomas Parsons, married to Isabella, who was the father of Elizabeth Parsons. Elizabeth Parsons was born in 1663 at Anne Arundel Md.

Thomas, her father was born at Anne Arundel, Md., in 1632. He died in the same place on 10 Oct 1683.

His father is listed as being Thomas, married to a Lydia Brown, of Windsor, Ct. This is where dates begin to get confusing. My data lists Thomas Parsons, father of Elizabeth, as being born 9 May 1605 at Windsor Ct. The same information, lists Thomas as being christened in Beaminster, Devonshire, England, in 1608/1609 and then returning to the US to Windsor, Ct. I believe the date might be incorrect for his birth.

The dates and location of his birth do not coincide. The Latter Day Saint genealogy site has this Thomas linked to families where the location of birth, birthdate or christening date do not coincide with other data listed for siblings.

The dates and parentage become more confusing as you precede to the previous generation, where two seperate families are listed as parental candidates. It seems in this case, that this generation of Thomas Parsons has possibly combined the generations of his grandfather and great grandfather, respectively.

I believe Elizabeth's grandfather Thomas, of Windsor, Ct, was born in England. Was his father William Parsons married to Margaret Hoskins, William Parsons married to Elizabeth Kidderminster, or, was his father Thomas/Hugh Parsons, who seems the most likey candidate namewise, who was married to Kate Radclift, daughter of Edward Radclift?

Looking for info on the ancestors of Mary PARSONS b.1662-4 W River, AA, MD, m.1683 to Mordecai PRICE, d.1718 Annapolis, AA, MD. Dau of Thomas & Isabella (HOLLAND) PARSONS I think. Any info on Thomas or Isabella or their ancestors?

As you can see the birth dates of the first two children don't match with the marriage date. Either the person has the families mixed up or there was first marriage for Thomas.
