Signed Thomas Plummer by his mark before Thomas Gatrole by his mark and Samuel Plummer.

Thomas3 Plummer (Thomas2, Thomas1) was born before 1698 (assuming he was no younger than 16 when married); he married Sarah Wilson in St. Barnabas' Church, Leeland, Prince George's Co., MD, 6 Feb 1715;16,19 he died circa 1774;20 his will was probated in Frederick Co., MD, 20 Feb 1774.21

Sarah Wilson died before 1774.22

Children of Thomas3 Plummer and Sarah Wilson were as follows:

i. John4 married Rachel Miles in West River Monthly Meeting (Society of Friends), Anne Arundel Co., MD, 18 Mar 1736;23 he died circa 1758; his will was probated in Frederick Co., MD, 25 Nov 1758. ii. Thomas. 12. iii. Samuel, m. Sarah (--?--). iv. Dorcas. v. Priscilla. vi. Phebe. vii. Mary. viii. Susannah. ix. Ruth.

Later male-line descendants have the Y-DNA haplotype R1b1a2.

Per email from Rose Mangan, 01-25-1999: "Notes for THOMAS PLUMMER (3): Thomas III, the eldest was born on later than 1697 in Prince George's county, MD as were his siblings. He wed 6 Feb 1715 Sarah Wilson in the Queen Anne Parish of St. Barnabus Church. (35) In 1744 he was granted "Greenland" (36) along Thurston Rd., Southwest of Hyattstown in Frederick County, MD. Thomas Plumer (thought to be a nephew, son of Samuel), George Kirk, James and John Hilton witnessed the writing of his will (37) 17 Nov 1773. A widower, he devised his estate to the eldest surviving son, Thomas IV and mentions Sanuel, Dorcas, Priscilla, Phebe, Mary, Susannah and Ruth as children. John the eldest wed Rachel, daughter of Thomas Miles, Sr. ad his second wife Elizabeth, widow of Guy White, (38) the 18th Day of 3 mo 1736 in the West River MM. (39) His administrative bond was filed 25 Nov 1758 by the widowed Rachel as administrator and resident of Frederick,Co., Edward Wilson Sr, and Jerome Plummer. (40) If John had children, they are not mentioned in either of these two estate proceedings. Rachel not mentioned n either of these two estate proceedings. Rachael took the oath that she had left the Society of Friends. Thomas III inherited 10s from will of father.
