About Thomas Pratt
I am not entirely confident about this attribution. Thomas was born in Calverley, father Joseph, but there are a lot of Pratts in Calverley, including another couple, Joseph and Mary. Thomas could be their son. He is born a long time before the next child, and is the only one not baptised at the Rehoboth Chapel at Farsley. Did Joseph and Hanah convert after his birth, or is he the son of the other Joseph? I suspect the latter.
What is a surprise is that Joseph and Hannah had no births/baptisms until James in 1806 if we discount this Thomas. Most people had a child in the first year of marriage, and thereafter every year or two. Maybe Hannah had miscarriages or stillbirths where there is no birth to record or living child to baptise.
