About Thomas Sever

Thomas Sever died testate, having written a will on 30 May 1755. It was presented to the Court in Boston on 21 December 1764 (Suffolk County (Massachusetts) Probate Records, Volume 63, Page 486). The Executors named were Capt. Eleazer Williams and Joseph Warren of Roxbury. Family named in the will included:

The Witnesses were Arthur Savage, Joseph Belknap, Saml Ph Savage.

The will was presented for probate by Eleazer Williams, Joseph Warren being deceased. Samuel Phillips Savage and Arthur Savage made oath. An Inventory (Volume 63, Page 494) was taken 26 December 1764 by Noah Perrin, Joseph Williams; the estate was valued at 964 pounds, 18 shillings, 2 pence.

Eleazer Williams deposed on 28 December 1764 (Volume 63, Page 487), Thomas Sever's widows thirds were set off on 19 April 1765 (Volume 64, Page 259), and Thomas Sever's real estate was divided (Volume 66, Page 4).
