Dr. Thomas Thornton

Dr. Thomas Thornton, Sr. was born on April 5, 1688 in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia, United States. His parents were Luther T. Thornton and Anne (Youell) Thornton.

Thomas married Susannah (Smith) Thornton. Together they had the following children: Rachel Thornton; Ellen Thornton; John Thornton.

Thomas married Agatha (Curtis) Thornton on July 25, 1708 in Christ Church, Christchurch, Middlesex County, Virginia, United States. Together they had the following children: Timothy Thornton; Thomas Thornton; Agatha Thornton; Elizabeth Ann (Thornton) Yancey; Ann (Thornton) Peyton.

He died on June 28, 1729 in Lancaster County, Virginia, United States.
