Thomas Trigg, Gent was born in 1540 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England. His parents were Vilhelm William Eriksson Trigg, Esq and Mary Trygge.

Thomas married Rebecca Trigg on April 30, 1558, in Westbury On Severn, Gloucestershire, England. Together they had the following children:
Richard Trigg;
Samuel Trigg;
William Trigg, Gent.

He died in 1641 in Holborn, Camden, Kent, England, and was buried on November 8, 1641, in St Giles in the Fields, Holborn, Camden, Kent, England.
