About Thomas Tupper
Thomas Tupper (1693-1739) lived in Sandwich until about 1717, when he removed to Stoughton and settled not far from a farm owned by his brothers-in-law, Eliakim and Josiah Perry. There, for some years, he manufactured shingles and clapboards of wood from the nearby cedar swamps. See NEHGR 99:65.
