Son of THOMAS & ISABEL (BRYAN) UFFORD, he was baptized on Sept. 7, 1623 in Nazeing, county Essex, England and brought to New England in 1632. He married Frances Kilbourne, daughter of Thomas & Frances (Moody) Kilbourne in about 1641 in Wethersfield. They had no children. He had a homelot in Stratford on the east side of Main St., which he exchanged with Capt. John Coe on Dec. 13, 1683, a short time before his death. Stratford records: "thomas Uffot and his wife dyed in ye year 1683"
His will was written May 17, 1683 and an inventory of his estate was taken Dec. 26, 1683. He had a large estate of which a large portion was given to his brother, JOHN's son, SAMUEL... the children of his sister Abigail, deceased, his brother, John & his other children, and provision for his widow, who apparently died shortly after her husband.

From this we can infer that he had no children of his own.
