Biography
Thomas, son of Daniel, was not the Thomas who married Rachel Horton, as stated in the 1895 Ancestral Chronological Record of the William White Family.[1][2]
"Thomas the son of Daniell White and Hannah his wife was borne May the 8 : 1680" in Marshfield, Plymouth Colony. [3][4][5]
Thomas of Marshfield married at Pembroke, Massachusetts, 16 April 1719 Martha Bisbee,[6][4] daughter of John and Joanna (Brooks) Bisbee, who was born 13 Oct 1688, in Marshfield. After this marriage, there are no further records of Martha, nor are there any children recorded.[4]
Thomas served in Queen Anne's War in 1710. He enlisted in the Expedition of Port Royal in 1710 and was detached to the Garrison there in 1711. He was sent in a sloop after the enemy, French and Indian, and was seriously wounded.[4][7] Thomas was taken care of for many years by his nephew Benjamin, son of Cornelius White.[4][8]
Thomas died in Hanover at his nephew Benjamin's house 31 Mar 1762.[9][4]
