IMMIGRATION 4th Sept 1839 The Bussorah Merchant made three voyages as a convict transport - two to Sydney in in 1828 and 1831, and one to Hobart in 1830. In her two voyages to Sydney she landed 166 and 198 male convicts and in her voyage to Hobart 198 male convicts were landed. The vessel was owned by Duncan She visited Hobart in 1837 and in 1839 brought emigrants to Sydney from London and Plymouth. She recorded as visting Hobart and Sydney in 1841, and South Australia for London and Plymouth in 1848. She visited Melbourne in 1860.
