<p>This stone was placed in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery in 1978 as a memorial marker only by the late Alma (Ellis) Hicks, a great-great granddaughter of Thomas Wilcox. - Hank Burnham
Other birth/death dates for Thomas Wilcox are 4/6/1784 - 9/13/1848. Also, it is evident this is a memorial marker only as Thomas Willcox (Wilcox) died long before Hazlehurst City Cemetery was even formed.
