A wedding took place at Christ Church, St. Laurence, on April 17, when Miss Beatrice Helmore, fourth daughter of Mrs. T. W. Helmore, of Paddington, was married to Mr. Adolph James Mechaelsen, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Adolph Mechaelsen, Short street, Lindfield. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. John J, Thompson at best man, and Mr. John P. Chounding and Mr. Norman L. McDonnell as groomsmen.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. F. Albury, M.A. The bridesmaids were Misses Ada Grace Helmore and Lucy Lambourne Mechaelsen, sisters of the bride and bride- groom respectively.

The marriage of Mr. Charles Helmore, eldest son of the late Thomas William Helmore, of Sydney, and Alice Mary (Elsie) Stephenson, only daughter of William Harrison Stephenson, of Sydney, was celebrated at Christchurch St. Laurence, Sydney, on December 14, the Rev. F. J. Albery, M.A. officiating.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. H. Stephenson, wore a dress of chiffon muslin and Melines lace, and a point lace tulle veil arranged over a coronet of orange blossoms. Her shower bouquet and pearl pendant were the gifts of the bridegroom.

The bridesmaids were Miss Ada Helmore and Miss Katie Helmore. Mr. A. Quinton acted as best man, and Mr. W. Helmore as groomsman. The reception was held at the Christchtirch Parish Hall.
