Thomas Wiseman Jr was born in1672 Wales and married Elizabeth Quadling in 1695 in Philadelphia County Pennsylvania in the American Colonies.

It is believed that Thomas Wiseman and his family sailed on the ship "Canterbury", which set off on September 3, 1699 from the Isle of Wright and reached Philadelphia on December 3, 1699. Reported to be on the voyage and travelling for the second time, was William Penn and his family.

According to records, Thomas Wiseman immigrated with his wife Elizabeth Wadling Wiseman to Pennsylvania in 1706. Their first child Isaac was born at sea. They had at least 7 more children: Sarah Elizabeth, Josiah, John, Jacob, Abraham, Barbary (discovered recently), and Thomas Jr. Thomas Wiseman Sr. died young at 46. It appears that his estate had to be settled without a will. It appears that at least two of his children emigrated to Hampshire County, WV; Barbary and Abraham. At least two more sons emigrated to North Carolina.
