Place of birth probable. Baptized at Northbridge, MA July 13, 1774. Married in Southborough MA on March 2, 1780, to Sarah Newton, born March 2, 1759 in Southborough MA, died June 2, 1836, also in Kingston.

They first lived in Belchertown MA where Sarah joined the Congregational Church in 1807. They later moved to Townshend, Vermont.

Their children were Enos, Jacob, Abner, Asahel, Sally, Patience, Martin, Nancy, Rebeccah, Isaac N, and George.
