Obituary

Coughlin, Timothy Lee Age 71; of Shepherd; passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 13 at 1 p.m. at the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd with Jean Thrush officiating. There will be Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 12.

Tim was born November 27, 1945 the son of Leo and Pearl (Eisenberger) Coughlin. He married Jean Pifer May 19, 1973 at St. Patrick’s Church in Irishtown. Tim participated in Golden Glove Boxing having received runner up in state competition. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed growing his deer plots as well. Tim worked various jobs over the years including Oldsmobile in Lansing, Detroiter Mobile Homes, The Hicks Co., Gary House Excavating, and retired from Bandit Industries in 2006… “Hooray!”

Tim is survived by his wife, Jean; his daughter, Trixie (Steve) Onstott of Mt. Pleasant; 3 grandsons, Bradley, Travis, and Cooper; his brother, Dick Coughlin of Shepherd; 3 sisters, Gloria (Gerry) Farnan of Shepherd, Ruth (Chuck) Utterback of Mt. Pleasant, and Linda Rondy of Ithaca; 3 brothers-in laws, Joe Zsoter of Breckenridge, Jim (Gale) Pifer of Shepherd, and Pat Pifer of Remus; and his sister-in-law, Linda Pifer of Rosebush.

Tim is preceded by both his parents; his sister, Delores Zsoter; his infant sister, Joyce; his brothers-in-law, Ron Rondy and George Pifer Sr.; his nephew, George Pifer Jr.; and his infant niece, Jamie Pifer.
