TIMOTHY Hodsdon2 (9), b. in Boston, Mass., or Kittery, Me., about 1652 ; m. Hannah . Nicholas Hodsdon sold his son Timothy land in Kittery, adjoining that of John Morrell, in 1679; this lot Timothy sold to his brother Benoni, Apr. 3, 1682, and settled in York, Me., where he d. about 1719 [?], and his widow m. Joseph Smith of York. [or was that his daughter?]

Joseph Smith m. Hannah Hodsdon (Widow of Timothy) and also apparently the widow of Nicholas Smith. [No - that was his daughter]

Nicholas Hodsdon was from Hoddesdon, England and then Hingham, Mass in 1635. After wife (and cousin) Esther died in 1647, Nicholas married Elizabeth, the widow of a John Needham. They were married Oct 2, 1650-something. They had 5 children: Sarah, Timothy, John, Joseph, Lucy.
