About Timothy McKenney
Timothy was quite the scoundrel with a thick file of court cases. He did things in a big way; sort of a white collar criminal of the early 1800s. In one case, he had multiple teams of employees working all winter logging different parcels of land he didn't own. He lost almost every court case he was involved in. It seems the only people who liked him were his lawyers. He and his brother were estranged after a falling out. By 1820 he disappeared from the record, or at least he could not be found in the area. To make a guess, he probably ended up in jail, or moved far away.
