Veteran of the American Revolution.

Son of Timothy Perkins and his first wife, Susanna (Washburn) Perkins. They were married at Bridgewater,MA on Mar 18,1735/6. Timothy Sr came to Ashfield,MA with his second wife, Zipporah (washburn) Perkins, whom he married in 1753. (NOTE: It is therefore unlikely that Timothy Jr was born in Ashfield.)

His paternal grandparents were Nathan Perkins and Martha Leonard Perkins.

Timothy Perkins Jr married Elizabeth Stocking on Nov 25,1779 at Ashfield,MA.
