He became famous in such films as Alyas Sakay (1961), Kidnapped (1959), Pag-ibig, ikaw ang Maysala (1965), Tatlong Big Shot (1965),Dope Addict (1961), Tulisan (1962), and Darna At Ang Babaeng Tuod (1964). He was also cast in dramas like Batas ng Alipin, where he was paired with Liberty Ilagan.
