On November 3, 1696 Tobias Boas was born. He was among the most prominent members of the Ashkenazi community in The Hague . At the first official contact between the royal family and the Jewish community in the Netherlands held a speech Tobia s Boas . From his father bought for 20,000 guilders Boas 's merchant's house in jewels , gold , silver and substances . Tobias built the business from his father into a banking house of world significance.
