W. L. Pace was re-elected as marshal last Tuesday. Mr. Pace has been known through this part of Mississippi as the best town marshal in the country. He has served many years and there never was a more fearless officer yet kind and reasonable in all his dealings with the people whom he has to deal with.
On account of Mr. Pace's good wife being very sick his two boys, Baker and Luther were called home last Sunday.
