Jacob Simonsen Grobo was christened on 11 Mar 1694 at Grobo, Spind, Vest Agder, Norway. He married Mari Hansdtr Log, daughter of Hans Tollisen Log and Anna Jonsdtr Holmen, circa 1714. He married Torbør Jacobsdtr Sunde, daughter of Jacob Sørensen Torp and Birgitte Øyvinsdtr Sunde, in 1738. He died before 1752 at Briseid, Herad, Vest Agder, Norway.

Mari Hansdtr Log was born in 1697 at Log, Herad, Vest Agder, Norway. She married Jacob Simonsen Grobo, son of Simon Bjørnsen. Briseid and Sissel Jacobsdtr Grobo, circa 1714. She died in 1734 at Briseid, Herad, Vest Agder, Norway.
