"I Townsend Dickinson of Milford in New Haven County and State of Connecticut -- aged 38 years -- being duly sworn do depose and say that I am the son of Sylvanus & Mary Dickinson -- that I now reside in my mother's family -- that I never saw or heard of any family record of my father and mother's marriage -- and do not believe that any such record exists -- that I have always had access to all the family records & papers -- and further deponent saith not --
