John Neely Kennedy (born November 21, 1951) is the Republican state treasurer of the U.S. state of Louisiana. He was re-elected to his fifth term as State Treasurer on October 24, 2015. Kennedy was elected the United States Senate seat previously held by Republican David Vitter.

In the aftermath of the 2020 Presidential Election,Sen. Kennedy voted to reject the slate of electors from the State of Pennsylvania, thereby asserting the unconstitutional premise that a senator has a right to reject a State legislature's certification of a General Election.
