Existence of this person assumed from the statement regarding the will of Richard Cheney (d. 1685) that it was executed by his widow Eleanor with the assistance of her "son" James Pindell.

"Son" can also include stepson, foster son, adopted son, son-in-law, and other quasi-parent-child relationships.

James Pindell, whoever he was, must have been at least 21 in order to assist with the execution of the will.
